Local Elections
Mayor and City Council elections are held on the first Tuesday in November in even-numbered years. If you would like to run for office, please note that the election process begins approximately five months before the election date.
 
Lemon Grove's City Clerk, the local elections administrator, works with San Diego County to conduct municipal elections, including preparing resolutions, directing the nomination process, and processing initiative, referendum, and recall petitions.
